Course Details

Objectives: The BUT is a training course with a National Program guaranteeing equivalent training in all GEII departments in France. In the first year, students discover all the basic functions and assemblies in the fields of Electrical Engineering (Electronics, Electricity, Electrical Engineering, Energy) and Industrial Computing (Programming, Computer Architecture, Networks, Automation) which will be necessary during the design, verification and maintenance of systems. In the second and third years, students deepen these three skills in a common core (around 80% of the teaching) and choose a course (around 20% of the teaching) relating to a new skill, from 3 choices:

Automation and Industrial Computing (Integration)
Electricity and Energy Management (Installation)
Electronics and Industrial IT (Production)

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : The professions of electronics engineer, electrical technician, automation engineer or industrial computer scientist cover a wide range of specific jobs.
