Course Details

Objectives: The course is addressed to train professionals and young graduates willing an insight in state-of-the-art techniques and standards, used in software and systems for testing, verification and validation of critical applications.
An overview of certifications at American and European level is given, and professionally illustrated by industry on the aerospace, transport, biomedical and nuclear sectors.

Intended for: Undergraduates in last academic year, recent graduates and professionals working or willing to build up his/her professional career on quality assurance in software and systems development.

Prerequisites: Graduate studies in engineering or science.

Admission requirements: Limited number of students..

Duration and terms: 30 hours / 1 ECTS

Course syllabus: The course includes theory and practical lessons with hands-on execises, performed in face-to-face mode and, including personal consultancy in on-demand topics the student would like to discuss with the lecturer.

Some of the covered topics include, Software ans Systems Safety, Software and System Validation and Verification, Certification, Real-Time control Systems and Specific industrial applications.
